Airport Facilities
Money and
communications: ATMs, bureaux de change
and an Internet exchange with wireless Internet are
available, along with post boxes. Wireless Internet
access is also available throughout the
terminal.
Eating and
drinking: There are various restaurants, cafés and bars,
including a 24-hour coffee bar.
Shopping: There are numerous shops throughout the
terminal, as well as duty-free outlets. A free shopping
collection service is available for

Luggage: There is a left-luggage facility (tel: (01279)

Other
facilities: There is a multi-faith chapel, baby changing
areas and showers.

An information desk is located in the
International Arrivals area. Courtesy telephones are
situated around the terminal, with a direct link to the
information desk.
Car
Hire:
Various car hire companies
are represented . Booking desks are situated between
Departures and International
Arrivals.
Car Parking:
There are short-term, mid-term and
long-term car parks, with short-term parking located
very close to the terminal building. Regular
coaches transfer passengers from the mid- and
long-term car parks to the
terminal.
Parking for motorcycles is free in the
designated (D) zone of the long-stay car
park.
Driving Directions
The airport is situated next to
junction 8 of the M11 motorway, less than 20 minutes
away from junction 27 of the M25 motorway and is
easily accessible from
London.
Public Transport
Rail: The station is located directly below the
terminal building. The Stansted Express rail
service (tel: 0845 850 0150;
www.stanstedexpress.co.uk) runs
direct to London Liverpool Street Station, stopping at
Tottenham Hale for connections to the West End.
The train service operates daily 0530
to 2430, departing every 15 minutes (journey
time approx 50 minutes).
Central

services via Cambridge and Leicester to Birmingham. For train

Coach:

every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day (journey

Victoria (A7), Stratford (A9) and other destinations.

London Baker Street for which bookings can be made
online. The Terravision Express Shuttle
provides a non-stop service to London Victoria. Other
services are available. The coach station is located in
